Steps to becomming a volunteer
OVERNIGHT SHELTER

CHECK IN VOLUNTEER
DRIVER
A an overnight volunteer, you will stay overnight at the church with the guests. Training is provided.
A resource center volunteer assists in performing general office duties, including answering phones, signing residents in and out, etc. Volunteers will also assist residents as needed.
Training is provided.
As a check in volunteer, you will help get the residents in nightly at the shelter.
Will help us take residents on weekly runs to grocery stores, pharmacies and appointments. In house certification required.
Obtain Your Clearances:
State Police Check: www.epatch.state.pa.us (free for volunteers)
ChildLine Clearance: www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS (free for volunteers)
FBI Fingerprinting Clearance: www.identogo.com (cost of $23.85 and done @ Bosler Library in Carlisle PA)
